Capitol City Careers

Capitol City Careers is dedicated to providing students with up-to-date, career orientated educations that ensure they are qualified for entry-level careers in various fields. Located in Austin, Texas, Capitol City Careers is part of the Timberline 1 groups of schools.

With a 20:1 teacher to student ratio, Capitol City Careers offers students the opportunity to enhance their career skills in order to help them become more employable and experts in their chosen field.

Student Options

Capitol City Careers provide all students with computer aided instruction, as well as access to current software. The school also has a learning resources center that gives students access to reference manuals, materials, publications, and periodicals, in order to complete assignments as well as for self study. Class sizes are a maximum of 30 students per instructor in a lecture environment, or 20 students per instructor in computer labs and typing classes.

Graduating students have access to free career assistance, where they can get help with resume preparation, interviewing skills, and find employment opportunities. The career services department keeps an updated list of employers looking to hire, and they also have lists of part time opportunities for students looking to defer the cost of attending school. Capitol City Careers offers advising services to students – whether they need career and school advice or personal counseling.

Financial Aid

The school has a dedicated Financial Services officer who can help students apply for and receive financial aid. Capitol City Careers is an eligible institution for students applying for the Federal PELL Grant, Federal Work Study and Perkins Loan programs, as well as Federal Education Loans and the PLUS Loan.
