Cornerstone University

Founded in 1941, Cornerstone University offers a fantastic selection of accelerated programs based on the Christian faith, and allows students to complete their studies on campus, online, or a combination of both. Students can take a single course at a time to ensure that they can give each piece their complete focus – instead of trying to cram in multiple disciplines at once.

Education programs at Cornerstone University offer two available concentrations, curriculum and instruction or educational leadership. Students learn how to integrate the Christian faith into their teachings throughout both courses. There is also a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) program for those wishing to teach English at home or overseas.

Each course uses a combination of lecture format as well as interactive learning. For those who are interested in online or distance education studies, Cornerstone University has a master's degree in business administration that can be completed fully over the Internet. Some other courses use a blend of on-campus and online learning.

Students wishing to attend Cornerstone University need to complete an application form, and receive a recommendation from a Christian pastor or leader, and submit these along with ACT or SAT scores, as well as a high school transcript.

Cornerstone University also offers Career Services in order to help students find jobs after graduation – with resume help, interviewing skills, and job searching.

The university offers tuition installment payments as well as financial assistance for qualified applicants. Students need to first apply for admission to the university before applying for financial aid. Once accepted they can complete a FAFSA form and obtain a PIN from the Department of Education. Students are also encouraged to contact the Student Financial Services department in order to discuss alternative financial aid options – such as scholarships, grants, and non-federal loans.
