Educational Technology in Georgia
Educational technology schools in Georgia offer students a variety of educational technology programs to choose from. Most programs are at the two-year associate’s level and above, with the vast majority being four-year bachelor’s degrees. Web development and education are both related majors. Students take a combination of education and information technology courses. Classes typically include distance education, multimedia usage in the classroom, using computers for assessment, and web development. Educational technology majors can teach or work behind the scenes as consultants or software developers. The job market is expected to grow at an average pace compared to all other fields. Much of the growth depends on government funding within the educational system.
