Educational Technology in Tennessee

Educational technology programs provide bachelor’s degree educational courses that teach students how to incorporate technology into the classroom to increase teaching and learning. Educational technology blends together information technology and education to provide the student with a mixed curriculum that typically takes four years to complete. Students learn about distance learning, multimedia software, assessment and e-learning. Students who study this major can use it in a variety of ways upon graduation. They can work for educational software companies developing new products, teach in public schools, become an account executive selling products or work as an IT administrator in the school system.
