General Teaching in Colorado
General teaching schools in Colorado prepare students for a solid foundation in education providing a wide array of degree programs. Students may choose from studying four years for a traditional bachelor’s degree, or go a little longer to pursue a master’s degree. Some schools offer a doctoral degree which requires further schooling. Classes such as math methods, science methods, psychology of learning, management of the classroom, curriculum instruction and human development make up the core studies of these programs. General education requirements may include courses in speech, English composition, literature, natural sciences, social sciences, and physical education. Both traditional and online schedules are available.
