Georgia Southern University

Founded in 1906, Georgia Southern University (or GSU) provides public post-secondary programs at its campus in Statesboro, Georgia. A wide variety of disciplines are offered, so students can select from various majors while they prepare for exciting careers. Georgia Southern University offers several graduate programs as well as undergraduate and funded programs through their online portal. Students can access online programs from anywhere the world, and through an asynchronous learning model they can fit their studies around their home and work life.

The university also offers blended learning options, which allows students to combine online learning with on-campus classes – so students receive a well rounded learning experience.

The Office of Career Services is committed to giving students a quality and positive experience when it comes to finding their first career, and even offer mentoring services. Through the career services center students can receive resume writing tips, interview assistance and help finding current job postings.

Georgia Southern University also offers counseling and career development services for students who need help finding the right direction in their lives. Students have access to health services, postal services, recreation facilities, and auxiliary services.

Students are encouraged to complete a FAFSA form one applying to the university in order to qualify for financial aid. Various scholarships, grants, and loans are also available for those who meet financial aid requirements.
