Curriculum and Instruction in Georgia
Curriculum and instruction schools teach students to produce dynamic classroom content and the ability to deliver it in effective ways that promote teaching and learning. Most curriculum and instruction degrees are at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral level. Many students are existing educators who want to specialize in curriculum or move up into administration. Graduates should expect strong job prospects as several existing educators are expected to retire within 5-10 years. Salaries for curriculum and instruction specialists are above average because of the level of education and because many graduates end up in administrative jobs such as principals and superintendents.
