A Multidisciplinary Studies degree program permits students to gain knowledge by studying a variety of subjects. The program is designed so that students may explore different subjects and develop cross-disciplinary communication skills. The program consists of a major field of study, but with a wide array of courses from two or three different areas of study. A typical MTD program is within the college of Arts and Science and offers a B.A. degree.
