Nanny in Pennsylvania

Nanny schools in Pennsylvania offer certificate programs that allow students to become qualified through coursework and hands-on experience. Pennsylvania has accredited nanny training programs that require approximately 200 hours of work inclusive of instructional lectures and courses. An additional 100 hours of hands-on field work is also required. Some field work positions are paid while others are strictly on a volunteer basis. The curriculum is designed to prepare students with the skills required to function successfully as an in-home child care worker. Courses may include home economics, human development, effective child communication, CPR, first-aid and foundations of being a child caregiver.
