Offering Early Childhood Educator and Special Education Assistant programs, Stenberg College gives students in-depth training and education in a short time frame, so students can be ready for their new careers in less than a year. The 46-week Early Childhood Educator program prepares students to become teachers for children age 0-6, in preschools, daycares, and other centers. Teachers wishing to work with and educate special needs students are encouraged to complete the Special Education Assistant program which offers practicum placements around the province and beyond.

Students interested in programs offered by Stenberg College are invited to contact the college directly for an information package. Most program simply require proof of high school completion or equivalent, and the school also offers some grade 12 programs for those who need to complete specific science or math courses in order to qualify for programs. Most programs run for 27-36 weeks.

Over 94% of graduates of Stenberg College programs are working in their field of study within 6 months after they graduate, and all students have access to the colleges Career Development program through their website. Here students can assess their skills, research different jobs and fields, find resume writing help, and develop contacts through their network. Access to Career Search assistance is granted to all students for as long as they need it.
